Knitting is supposed to be fun, right? That’s why I made these quirky affirmation cards for knitters (who love cats).

For so many of us, knitting is stressful, but it shouldn’t be. It shouldn’t feel competitive either (unless you’re entering your work into the county fair – those judges are brutal af, LOL). Nor should it be a source of guilt over the seventeen unfinished projects living neglected lives in various project bags scattered around the house (or is it 103?). It should be fun, right? Right?
These affirmation cards for knitters will help you frog without shame, find the courage to make that gauge swatch you’ve been avoiding (don’t lie), and give you permission to buy yarn for projects that exist only in your heart – you grow that stash, girl.

In the grand tradition of all the knitters who came before us, we make mistakes and we move on. The frogging is the craft. The stash is the legacy. And the WIPs? They’re older than some friendships, waiting patiently for our return. They know we’ll get to them. Eventually. Probably. Maybe?
Knitting doesn’t ask you to be perfect. It asks you to show up, cast on, and see what happens. I say that’s enough.
And if you need a little reminder of that from time to time, these affirmation cards were made for you.
